Bioelements’ Flash Foaming Cleanser Review

Hello lovely ladies!
Ah, today has been a spring cleaning kind of day! At first, my goal was just to scrub out my bathroom and drain the sinks. I managed to do that and then I ended up getting carried away and pretty much re-decorated/cleaned out my room. I finally put a WORKING TV in my room and it is so much bigger and awesome! I also switched out my tiny closet dresser for a larger IKEA dresser. And I cleaned out my closet so I could fit the Jessica Simpson luggage and what not! IT’S ALL FINALLY TAKEN CARE OF!! I am pretty sure I lost a couple pounds with all the scrubbing and lifting and what not I’ve done today…ANYWAYS.

Today I want to share with you all a little review on a cleanser that I purchased a few weeks back. Now that I’ve had a few weeks to see results and the sort, I’m finally ready to do a little review for you all!

DISCLAIMER: I was not paid nor asked to do this review. The product was bought with my own money and the results and review are from my own, honest, personal experience.

productSo, this is the Bioelements Flash Foam Cleanser bottle which I purchased at a local salon for about $34.00. Honestly, this is the most expensive cleanser I’ve purchased since my Proactive days, but this works so much more better. Anyways, I love the packaging and the bottle design. I am a sucker for simplicity and I think they have achieved a great look for their brand. It comes with a little clear cap on top where the foam is dispensed which I like especially when traveling. In other words, the packaging and display of the bottle is great and I LOVE it.

product 2One thing that I look for in a foaming cleanser are super tiny bubbles. The tinier the bubbles, the deeper the cleansing. With small bubbles, you can reach into pores easier and the sort, so it is a MUST that the bubbles be tiny. Luckily, this cleanser has TINY bubbles and the only other cleanser I’ve seen have this tiny of bubbles was my Biore Marshmallow Whip cleanser. This is definitely a plus in my book.

trialThis is how the cleanser looks once you’ve lathered it onto your face…not quite the most flattering picture, but please bare with me here. The foam acts as a gentle exfoliating scrub as well as an exfoliating booster. So, to make the most out of it, I use a exfoliating sponge to get a tad bit more dead skin out of the way. If you’re using it for the night time, I would probably hold off on the sponge and just use clean hands and massage your face. But, this cleanser lathers nicely and as you can tell, my problem areas are on the lower portion of my face, so I tend to use a tad bit more cleanser in those areas.

resultThese are unedited photos of my face afterwards. My skin is tad red from the exfoliate sponge, but overall my skin feels soft, smooth, and firm. Aside from my time of the month, the cleanser has definitely helped my skin clear up. Just for those wondering, I prefer using this cleanser in the morning with the exfoliate sponge in warm water and then shifting to cold water. Overall, this is a great product and definitely worth the $34.00 that I spent on it. Since I have very sensitive and oily skin, this product has also helped with maintaining a healthy balance of oil and what not, so I highly recommend this product for those with sensitive skin. Great job Bioelements~! I am so pleased with your product and I am definitely going to be purchasing from your brand again.

That’s it for my first review on SimplyTaylorRae! I hope you enjoyed it and I am hoping to do more reviews in the future. With that said, I am thinking about also doing a little photo journal-esque type of post on here, but I am still thinking about what to name it and so forth. So, there is still much to look forward to in the future with the website. Next month is going to be a tad bit busy with birthdays, father’s day, concerts, and work and all that jazz, so I will try to keep up with posting as best as possible…maybe I will stay up all night to make sure you guys get your posts! I want to keep a regular posting schedule, which so far is mostly Tuesday unless stated otherwise. But more on that later!! I am so beat from cleaning, so I shall say goodnight here~!

I hope you all have a blessed week and I hope you all enjoyed your Memorial Day weekend. Please stay safe and always remember to Live. Laugh. Smile 🙂
Thanks for Reading~! ❤

Recent Purchase: Shoes & More Polkadots…

Hey Hey Hey!
I cannot believe how hot it is for Spring…although I guess this is rather ok since we are approaching Summer soon. I am so ready for Autumn though! I miss layering up. But anyways, Anthony and I made a recent run to TJMaxx this weekend where I bought a few items for reasonable prices and I am absolutely in love with them! So, what did I buy this time?purchaseI ended up spending only $54 during this trip, but it includes a black pair of casual loafers for $12.99 and a cute, nautical inspired pair of round-toed flats for only $16.99. I also ended up buying yet another polka dotted button up by Dalia Collection which typically runs $40.00+, but I ended up getting it for $19.99 and it fits like a dream!shoesThis is a close up on the flats! If you can’t tell, it’s almost like a rope or thick thread that makes up the texture and what not. With the striped pattern, I really feel like these are so perfect for the hot days ahead and bring a summer, nautical feel to an outfit easily. I can also see these with my polka dot top, shorts with tights, and a cute cardigan for Autumn. tumblr_mn22tmMumq1qa95aho1_500These were so comfortable for work! I like the unique-ness of the toe as well. At first, I thought they reminded me of TOMS, but I feel like TOMS are just a tad bit rounder when I compared pictures. I feel like these would look so adorable with simple patterned socks, such as what I wore above. It gives an outfit some zest and fun and you manage to stay comfortable at the same time. You can wear these with flared or skinny jeans and you’d still look comfy and casual. Definitely a recommended buy.

I wish I had a good picture of me wearing the shirt, but unfortunately…I do not. But, if you keep an eye on my instagram, you’ll probably see one in the future! With that said, that was my recent purchase from TJMaxx, one of my favorite stores because of all the wonderful deals~! I hope you all enjoyed this post and I know I need to include from health and beauty posts!! That might be happening more often now that I’m on a tight saving budget!

Anyways, I hope you all have an amazing week! For those affected by the Tornado in Oklahoma, my prayers go out to you. Please stay safe everyone and stay blessed. And always remember to Live. Laugh. Smile 🙂

BONUS PICTURE:tumblr_mn3qu06xow1qa95aho1_500Among the flowers and bushes is the newest member to our family! His name is Boss (subject to change) and he is a 3 month old Pit Bull/Black Lab mix! He is the silliest thing ever with his long legs and stubby body. He’s found joy in jumping into flowers and playing hide and seek. But, he is getting along so well with our Yorkie Poo and the 2 Chihuahuas! We are so happy to have a new member to our growing family.

Outfit of The Days: Wedding & A Day Out

Hello Everyone! I am back I am back I am back and on SUMMER VACATION. Praise the Lord it is finally here! Can you tell I am excited? And this weekend/week was a great way to start off my summer. Anthony and I attended our first wedding together on Saturday and today I went to lunch with my great friend/hairdresser! So, let’s begin~…weddingSo, as you all should be aware, friends of mine and Anthony’s tied the knot on Saturday and this was really my first wedding where I was a guest rather than a junior bridesmaid. Luckily enough, I had some female help with picking out what to wear and my mom had a blast doing my eye makeup!
Ribbed Sheer Blouse – Forever21
Hi-Low Dress – TJMaxx
Tights – My Job…
Wedges – Coach
Hair Accessories – Forever21945645_10151895076459867_1521720934_nMy goal for this outfit was almost a Victorian Vintage look…if that makes sense? I don’t like going bare arms, so I thought the blouse added that vintage touch. I put my hair up in a tight bun with a black bow right above to hide some of the bobby pins that kept my short hair together! Overall I was incredibly thrilled with this outfit and I had such a great time! Congrats Tawny & Raymond!! Hope you’re enjoying your honeymoon~!

tumblr_mmwas7dPwU1qa95aho1_500This outfit was for a lunch date in Annandale with my great friend for the past couple years and my beautiful hair dresser, Danielle! It took us so long to finally spend a day together, but we finally got the chance and we had a blast~!
Polka Dot Hi-Low Blouse – Ross
Jeans – TJMaxx
Sneaker Wedges – Target
Purse – Coachtumblr_mmwyuvPYyh1qa95aho1_500I really wanted a Flowing Casual look since I haven’t had a chance to wear this beautiful blouse yet! So, I thought some jeans and sneaker wedges would keep it a tad more casual and fun. I definitely loved this outfit and I’m hoping to wear it on a date with Anthony, A WINK.

BONUS PICTURE:tumblr_mmwrsnHama1qa95aho1_500This is my little haul from today! I am so happy I didn’t spend as much money as I normally do when I go to Annandale…I controlled myself today, hooray!

Pumpkin & Pomegranate Face Masks from The FACE Shop
Melon & Green Tea Bread
4 Packages of Mochi

Alrighty, that’s it for today everyone! I hope you enjoyed this post and found it helpful for those who…are having trouble dressing for a wedding? Haha, I love to share outfit ideas though! It is so fun, honestly. I could put together outfits for hours. But I am so happy it is finally summer~!
In regards to the YouTube Channel; I will not be posting videos for a while. Unfortunately, uploading my HD videos is close to impossible. I have to wait 7-16 hours and I don’t have the time to stay at Anthony’s house on his iMac editing videos and uploading them and the sort, so I hope you all understand! My blog will be updated quite often though, if that makes up for it…

With that said! I hope you all have a wonderful and safe weekend. I’m not too sure what my next post will be on, but as soon as I get a hint, I will let you all know on my twitter: @TaylorRae319!! SimplyMe: A Few Things that Make Me Happy?

Hello Hello Everyone!
Ah, it is finals week and I am so happy that I only have one more final! I took my Computer Applications/HTML Coding exam today and passed with 100% however I am less thrilled about my business exam on Thursday…there’s a long story with that. But I kind of wanted to do a post on things that make me happy. I have been so frustrated with college recently and with all the anxiety from that and other things, I’m stressing myself out to the point of stress-eating. Do you all feel like you get too overwhelmed with college? I always feel like I’m the only one because all of my friends are so motivated and driven, but I have no idea what I want to do or major in or anything. I feel like I’m going where everyone is telling me to go. So, I feel like reminding myself of the things that make me happy and try to get myself through the rest of this week without going crazy. So, let’s start~!33d7a511-fc11-4093-8c38-9a6f21325627_zps17013a06Actually, this picture makes me smile. It was taken in my hometown of Charleston, South Carolina (also the hometown of Stephen Colbert, yes I am proud.) at the Charleston Aquarium and thanks to Anthony’s awesome photography skills, he even captured the Cooper River Bridge. I love going to Charleston because it’s a city that embodies who I am; A beautiful city with Victorian architecture and a vintage feel. Maybe that’s why I cherish vintage things so much?49caad0a-9f25-464d-a178-df41b647b060_zps0bef3687
So, if you haven’t noticed already, I love to capture moments. Whether it be in writing or pictures, I have to capture the details in some form. I have been wanting to create a photo journal lately; like buying a polaroid camera, some cute washi (tape), and taping the photos in the journal and writing down my thoughts and why I took the picture in the first place. Like keeping a journal but with pics, right? Looking back at those moment and reading my thoughts is something I treasure and always brings a smile to my face.b48796d9-be5e-47ff-843c-e04f4e045c42_zps6c28675fI used to have a cat a few years ago. It seemed to strange to own one when I had such a severe allergy to cat dander and what not, but for some reason my cat never gave me too much trouble allergy wise. I couldn’t pick him up a lot and I remember his claw marks left terrible swelling in their wake, but he would always come by and make me pet him and give him a kiss. Unfortunately, during a trip to Charleston, he got out of the house and we haven’t seen him since. So, whenever I see anything with a cat print and what not, I can’t help but smile. I can’t own a cat now because my allergies have worsen, but cat prints and pictures are comforting enough for me I guess. Everything with a cat reminds me of him and the memories and wierd yet loving a cat he was.12e541c8-c7a7-415c-b2a3-811dfb8f8400_zps0e93f32aSo, as you all know…I enjoy blogging. It is possibly one of my greater passions in life. I put blogging and reading together because I love to read other people’s blogs as well! My favorite is actually Jenny who is a blogger from DC as well! Her blog is Sushi-Cat.Net and she blogs about pretty much everything I love…and her Tumblr is also quite brilliant I must say. Along with reading, I love to read book from Howl’s Moving Castle to 下妻物語 to Jaycee Dugard’s chilling memoir to the Bible. My preference varies, I suppose. But being in my room, with a window open for fresh air, relaxing instrumental music, and nice book or my laptop with me blogging makes me smile so big! Maybe that’s why I began a blog in the first place?

77b1271c-d698-4f99-b6cf-eb62d173542b_zps5670a60aYes, I must admit…he is one of the reasons I smile the most. Spending time with Anthony is truly a blessing. We may argue every once in a while and things will not always go the way we expected, but being able to be near him or next to him…I can’t help but smile. He always makes sure that I am ok and comfortable and happy. His smile makes me smile. His laugh makes me laugh. And so on. I sound so sappy, but alas it is true. He makes me smile in general, what can I say? Anthony, if you read this…YOU MAKE ME SMILE LIKE A BIG DORK. 🙂

Alrighty, that is it for today everyone! Just a head’s up, my next post will be a “Get Ready with Me” post since Saturday I am going to a friend’s wedding! I am so excited and my mom will be doing my makeup since my hands have been too shaky recently for weird reasons. So be on the look out! I may include a video as well! AHHHH.
Well, SUMMER VACATION IS HERE. I hope you all have an amazing weekend and remember to stay safe, have fun as well as Live. Laugh. Smile 🙂
Thanks for reading~! ❤
